  • 2009SAS received the Life After Stroke Award from The Stroke Association
  • 2014SAS was given a support award by Babergh District Council for continued support of stroke survivors.
  • 2015 & 2018The Stroke Association awarded SAS two more awards specifically for their research into the psychological consequences of stroke.
  • 2021In June 2021 SAS won ‘The Queen’s Award For Voluntary Service’ which was presented by The Lord Lieutenant of Suffolk. This is known as ‘the MBE for charities’ and is a wonderful recognition of our mantra ‘your success is our success’.
  • 2023The High Sheriff of Suffolk awarded SAS a certificate of gratitude and recognition in appreciation on behalf of the County of Suffolk and of all those who benefit from the dedication, hard work and outstanding service that enhances the life of the community.
